Hebrews 12:12-13 – “So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.13 Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.”
The hardest part of my motivation is just getting started. Once I can get the ball rolling and get some momentum then I am ready to start doing something. Every once in a while, I just need to remind m that myself I need to rise up and get going.
Get out of bed, not just physically, but spiritually. Resurrect and rise from my slumber and start doing what I need to do. The problem I have in my own life is not that I don’t know what to do, but that I often don’t spend time actually doing it. The long I put it off the less likely I am to actually start doing it.
Today is going to be a day of productivity. I’m going get a grip and strengthen myself and point my feet in the right direction. Take the first step and do what I need to do. I have several items on my list I have been putting off for more than a week, but that is going to stop today. Today is the day I rise up, get out and get something.
